This policy describes how TracksMob handles data for visitors to tracksmob.com and for people whose browsers or devices pass through our advertising measurement domains. TracksMob is the internal campaign measurement platform of Sams Mobile Media Pty Ltd (Samsmob). It is used only by Samsmob staff and is not sold as a product.

Domains covered by this policy:

• tracksmob.com — public website and staff applications
• clkmob.com — advertising click measurement and conversion notifications from advertising partners
• trkmob.com and clickmob.net — advertising click measurement (including one-level subdomains used for Samsmob campaigns)

Infrastructure used for these systems: Hostinger (server hosting) and Cloudflare (DNS only — not as a reverse proxy). Company and account emails (password resets, invitations, activation messages, and replies to enquiries) are sent and received using Google Workspace on the samsmob.com domain.

Website and staff applications (tracksmob.com)

The public website does not use a contact form and does not set analytics cookies for browsing. If you email us, we receive whatever you put in the message (typically your address and any details you choose to share) so we can reply. Those messages are handled through Google Workspace. Staff applications on related hosts are for authorised Samsmob users only; account credentials and session data for those tools are handled separately from public website browsing.

Purpose of advertising measurement

We record click and related measurement events so we can attribute advertising activity to campaigns and publishers, prevent abuse, and report performance for Samsmob’s own advertising.

Data we collect when measuring a click

When an advertising measurement request results in a redirect to an advertiser destination, we store a click measurement record. We do not store the visitor’s IP address in click records, and we do not currently store a country field.

A click measurement record may include:

• A unique click identifier we generate
• The destination URL we redirect to
• The hostname that received the click
• An optional campaign label from a subdomain, when present
• The measurement mode for that host
• Internal campaign, link, and publisher identifiers when available for attribution
• The browser or client user-agent string
• The HTTP Referer header, when the client sends one
• Optional pass-through values supplied in the measurement link, when present and valid
• The time of the click (UTC)

Operational process logs may also retain the request path and host for troubleshooting. They are not part of the click measurement record above.

What we do not collect

• Visitor IP address in click records
• Account passwords or payment details via the click measurement path
• Precise geolocation (no country lookup is performed today)

How measurement works

On trkmob.com and clickmob.net, the destination is taken from the advertising link itself. We redirect once to that destination and may append our click identifier for attribution.

On clkmob.com, the destination may come from Samsmob’s campaign configuration. We may also receive conversion notifications from advertising partners to attribute conversions back to a click.

Server and security logs

• Click redirects on trkmob.com and clickmob.net do not store the visitor’s IP address in click records or access logs.
• If a request fails, the web server’s error log may record the IP address, time, and requested URL for troubleshooting. Error logs are deleted after 14 days.
• Requests to TracksMob staff applications and related interfaces, including conversion notifications from advertising partners, are logged with the requesting IP address for security and troubleshooting, and are deleted automatically through log rotation.
• Logs are not used for tracking, profiling, or advertising.

Retention

Raw click records are deleted automatically after 13 months.

We also keep daily aggregate click counts (by day and campaign dimensions) with no automatic deletion schedule. Those aggregates contain no per-click or visitor data (no click identifiers, user agent, referer, destination URL, or IP).

Sharing

Click data is used for Samsmob’s own advertising operations. Systems that process this data are hosted on Hostinger; DNS is managed with Cloudflare (DNS only). We do not sell this data.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to raise a complaint with a supervisory authority. How those rights apply to ephemeral click identifiers versus identifiable account data differs; contact us if you wish to exercise a right.
